Hey Kiran I need your help to get certification information.
I want to opt for MCTS for web development specially in framework 3.5. Would you please suggest me which exam(paper no) should I go for and where Can I get good reading material for the same. Thanks
Hi Shahid,
For MCTS – Web 2010 Exam Code you can find from my blog post : http://kiranpatils.wordpress.com/2010/04/26/vs-20082010-certification-path/ [AS it is 3.5 You can refer 2008 Certification Path] also from here you can download the PDF from given link. MCTS Web 3.5 Exam Code is : 70-564 [http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exam.aspx?ID=70-564]
On the good material note I always strongly recommend MS Press Book. But as per my knowledge there is no book available yet for 70-564. So, in that scenario i would suggest just go through it’s Skills Measured Section
[http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exam.aspx?ID=70-564#tab2] and find out the best book for you. And also using Google you can find out someone who has already faced this exam.
If need more inputs from my side. Feel free to drop me a line.
Cheers,
Kiran Patil
Hi Kiran,

Hi Divya,
Apologize for delay in reply.
I’ve dropped dumps in your mailbox.
If need more inputs from my side. Feel free to drop me a line.

Dear Kiran,
Today first time visited your personal page and feel very happy, i would rather say I feel proud for you as I worked with you. Really likes your initiative, which will also inspire new professionals too at the early stage. We could have done it but we didn’t.. However atlast you started so now not feeling bad.
Keep it up!!! Still you need to go …..
If you need any kind of help then I would be happy…
Enjoy coding!!!!
Manohar Sir,
Thanks for the nice words and visiting my blog and page also you are embarrassing me :-). Yeap, If my initiatives can inspire few bunch of youngsters then I will be lucky and feel like got rewarded :). BTW, It’s really my pleasure that in early stage i worked with peoples like you[And frankly speaking whatever I’m it’s just because my beginning was good even though it was quite tough but that’s “Life” and let me thanks to God for such life]. If you remember you’ve suggested that have practice of reading books/blogs and that practice is giving fruitful results in our professional life — Thanks for that!
Surely, I will keep the inner flambe burning!
Happy Coding π
Thanks Again!
Sincerely,
Kiran Patil
hello sir,
Be happy i.e be u happy. not “Happy Coding”. Coding makes people always unhappy.
So, if u want to be happy then let coding itself happy. If u r happy then coding will be happy automatically.
Hello Ekta,
Sorry, I disagree that coding makes people always unhappy. Because I always feel happy when I code something.
“When Passion becomes profession, life becomes vacation!” π
Thanks for reading blog!
Sincerely,
Kiran Patil
wow…life is truely an enjoyable mystery sometimes(with a few bumps/challenges here and there). I got your link from an email one of our developers sent another programmer. I saw what the conversation was about so I followed the link (I also do some programming). After reading a few of your posts and your comments, I was truely impressed with your spirit. Aside from programming, it was nice to stumble upon your site and to walk away with a few tid-bits of inspiration…code, life. In this world today, we all need to remind each other of gratitude, thankfulness, and yes, happiness. Thank you my friend for letting your heart shine.
Manuel – Thank you so much for the nice words! I am certain I do not deserve so much love and affection, but I am very fortunate to have it, and very grateful … π
Happy Reading! π
I completely agree with Manuel….
Thanks Varun! — I will again say that am certain that I do not deserve so much love and affection, but I am very fortunate to have it, and very grateful β¦ π
Happy Sharing! π
